Headlight Dramas.
 

My front right light bulb went and I changed it today. I have a feeling I have done something wrong. Can someone please explain why one light is really white and the other one sort of yellow?

What wattage bulb was put in as replacement? Brand? Quality? Its hard to mess up a headlight install, esp if its producing light after you finish. If they are the exact same bulb, then you have some overarching power problem to the headlights (probably not the case). Pull out the bulb you didn't replace and check that its the same as the one you did.

It's a Halogen head lamp.
H7 12V 55W and it's a different brand to the one on the left side?

Halogens dim slightly over time. I always replaced them in pairs.

double check that the housing is properly seated and fully engaged into the plug.

I bought a pair of headlight bulbs the other day and noticed that they come in different color temperatures. Ranging from 3200K to 4400K I believe.
Lower temp are more yellowish and higher are more white/blueish.

Like particlewave I replace them in pairs. Also lights come in different temperatures that can result in them looking white, yellow, or bluish. All H7s are not the same.

Try switching the bulbs into opposite lamps and compare results. It looks like they're of different temperatures--4300 vs. 6000?

There's something in the manual that I find confusing.

When it says the top is low beam and the bottom high beam. High beam as in the beam you use after dark or high beam when you flash someone?

Both. They are the same thing. ;)

Low beam bulbs are on top in the reflector. High beams are actually both top and bottom bulbs on at the same time. The reflectors flip the light beam upside down like a lens, which is why they're reversed. ;)
