What filter do you use with LN Engineering Spin on adapter
I have seen several recommended. Naturally I can't find them now by searching. What I bought was a Wix 51348 filter [Edit: Wix 51348 was for my Toyotas... mystery solved :) ]. Where did I determine that one? I can't remember and I can't find the thread either from where I divined that this was the right filter.
LN Engineering looks like it says to use Napa Gold 1042: LN Engineering The Wix number for that would be 51042 right? So where in the world did I get the idea that Wix 51348 was the right one? Should I send it back and get a 51042? Folks with the spin on adapter, what filter do you use? Steve PS This is semi academic because while I just got the spin on adapter I have 4,000 miles to go before my next oil change.... so it will be a while :) |
51042 is the correct filter. The 51348 should not be used and may not even fit.

Awesome, thank you.

The Wix 51042 is the one I've used. I just bought another---I think it's maybe my 3rd? They've been fine, no issues whatsoever. If you're looking, here's a locator: WIX Filters - Where to Buy
