Meet my 10 years old Panda...

Just installed some black headlight covers (yes there are some rain drops on her)... now she is officially a "Pandaster"!

A little over 6 months since I brought her home and I think this may be the last mod for 2013. I've successfully transformed her from a Polar Bear to a Panda. ;)

Nice non-color crest!

Here is a better shot of the front... I may eventually get the LED DRL projector black headlights but only when they fix the fitment issue.

You have had those seats for a while now Evo so tell us how do they feel/hold up. They look real nice and the car as a whole is looking very clean.

Your next step should be getting those aftermarket black head lights and 550 tail lights.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1381699534.jpg

Thanks!

Those seats are fine but nothing compare to OEM, however definitely worth more than what I paid. I can show you if you come to the Tobay beach meet next Sunday.

Yes, I like those aftermarket black projector headlights but worry about the fitment as another member had mentioned, plus the price is a little high.

Bmod986 10-13-2013 01:51 PM

Hey I am going we just have to work out at what time to show up, how many people are coming, do we cruise there or meet up there. PM me your number I already have black box's.

Aside from that I know the price is very high same as the lighttronics. I didn't know that they had fitment problems. I thought the early models had seal problems but that got resolved and thats why they went from costing $780 to $1200

Jager 10-13-2013 01:52 PM

Have you thought about painting the grill and side intake fins black?

Here is the thread for the 2nd gen headlight fitment issue. http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/48522-led-headlight-problems-help-2.html

As for the meet, it'll be nice if we can cruise there, I'm about 30 miles north of Tobay Beach. We can discuss at L.I. Meet thread, I'll PM you my number.

I may dip the front grill black but I think I'll leave the side fins white for now.

+1 on that

particlewave 10-13-2013 05:31 PM

Oh no... :(
Not attractive, IMO.

evo-r 10-13-2013 05:48 PM

I'm wondering if those headlight covers will look better in white? Anyone care to photoshop them?

Go white !

thstone 10-13-2013 07:06 PM

Definitely, go white.

thom4782 10-13-2013 07:30 PM

+1 on white headlights...also suggest going back to white rims.

Nine8Six 10-13-2013 08:27 PM

Fixed.

Left a few shadows as this will be inevitable when installed on the car. Also, fixed the cartoon looking orange P emblem. Neutral color car, you can't have and 'orange' object right between things sorry mate. The car plate color is more than enough orange :(

You want the chrome based LED headlights btw, not the black ones or your set-up will come back to the same Panda looking thing. They fit with a bit of fettling is all you need, whether they need 'adjustments' that is a small issue mate (all aftermarket parts needs an experienced installer). They are not cheap now that I admit

W:eek:W! Now that's sick, I love it! Thanks for fixing the emblem too, gotta save up to get those (or DIY it myself):cheers: Time to execute... ;)

Then remove those headlight covers entirely. You have a really nice clean car, but those covers look like aftermarket Walmart crap no matter what color you paint them. I haven't seen a car yet that I thought they looked good on.

I agree with thom4782's suggestion about going back to the white wheels. I thought that looked really sharp.

Then ditch those hideous covers! :)
Doesn't matter what color, they are just funny looking. Don't buy into those junk led headlights either. I think their track record speaks volumes.

This is what you want ;)
There is no substitute. None.

You know what... I agree with you, in order to keep a clean look I should remove them and just save up to get those LED DRL Projectors next year. Going back to stock tonight

As for the white rims, yes I like them too but I still prefer the gun metal color rims to match the hardtop, and I just think dark color rims looked meaner. Besides, the white rims are a PITA to clean. But who knows, I may change it up in 2014! :D
