Actual measurements on my 2001 non-S model (taken in inches, converted):

Rear edge to bottom of logo: 50.8 mm (2")
Sides to R/L edges of logo: 279.4 mm (11"). Of course, ending up centered.

I was surprised to see the measurements come out in whole inches, I expected some crazy fractions due to originally being in metric units. I now wonder if Porsche's CAD system or stylists are using US/English units? ;)

No offense dude, but your diagram - in which you clearly put in some work - is confusing as **************** ! But, just going off the two locations where you typed 'Boxster', I'd say the lower one. Raised spoiler blocks the Boxster logo at eye level.

That being said, I'm curious why Porsche didn't move the logo up a little so it isn't blocked by the spoiler, just a couple of inches would do.

Whatever you do, do NOT get a "Boxster" decal for your spoiler, or I'll personally come to your house and force-feed you sashimi and rice.

I am one of those who feel the best place for the logo is in the trash can or on a wall. People who know cars will know what it is, those who don't will ask Boxster who makes that, Honda?

The logo is such a pain to clean around, this is the biggest reason the butt of my car is naked.

Your friendly Porsche Dealer can install it for you, and my bet is he will do it free well even money on that one, 100 to 1 they done use a micrometer.

I'm not sure, I think aesthetically that the Boxster script adds a little, although running naked might grow on me, should I try it.

I will agree that it's a pain in the ass to keep clean. You could knit a scarf from all the towel threads clinging to the letters on mine.

I too am torn between the Clean Look and Stock Appearance. I haven't found cleaning to be a problem, but it takes a little more time.

They are prone to cracking and if mine ever does, I'll probably buy a replacement, but keep it Off for a while.

BTW, that 100:1 Bet is a Sucker Bet! They might use a Vernier Caliper, but they'd have a heck of a time trying to get a Micrometer to do any Good...;)
