4 spoke airbag replacement with 3 spoke

Hey guys, I am looking to replace my 4 spoke steering wheel out of a 2003 Boxster S with a 3 spoke out of a 2002 Boxster.

Is everything the same, along with the Airbag Control Module? Thanks

I also ask what is the best way to cross reference parts without calling the dealership every time? I have 2 wrecked Porsche's that I am making 1 good one out of.

The 2003 S will be my project, the 2002 base model is my parts car.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I start dismantling 2 cars. Do you see any potential issues between the 2 years/models as far as fitment is concerned?

As far as I can research, it seems as if only the strut and spring are different on the left front base model vs. S.

Here is my 2003 S Front end:

And here is my donor car, the 2002 base model

All Boxster S came with 3 spoke wheel standard, so I'm guessing you won't have any problem swaping wheels. As for checking parts compatibility try this forums owner website parts catalog. pelicanparts.com

Thank you, so the 4-spoke is actually an "upgrade"? I think the 3-spoke is so much better looking.

Actually the 3-spoke is an upgrade. The four spoke was standard on the base cars.

Does the S and base model use the same size radiators and condensers?
