No factory alarm question?
 

First of all, it is worthwhile to add an aftermarket alarm? How useful other than piece of mind and possibly lower insurance rate? I am considering a Viper 5000 (top of line Viper) if I decide to add.

Secondly, Since my 2002 has no factory alarm, I assume that the keyless door/trunk entry feature is not there as well-no actuator if no alarm, correct?

No I tried to add the factory option with key functions. Too much of a pain. So the viper was the next best choice. Your car has the factory LED in the center of the dash. I actualy wired my viper LED output to it. It looks like a factory alarm when it blinks.
