MAF Failure Poll

If you had a Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) failure at under 100K miles on your Boxster, what type of air filter were you using?

Hi,

You might want to distinguish between One-Owner and Previously Owned vehicles.

If a PO ran an Aftermarket Filter for most of the Car's life, then removed it when selling the Car, a MAF failure could occur with the New Owner who was unaware that the Car hadn't run an OEM filter for it's total lifespan.

While it's true there would be no way of actually knowing what the PO ran for a Filter, the data, once compiled, could show a statistical significance on Previously Owned Cars which would be suspicious to say the least...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
