Top in service mode

Took out evoms air filter to clean and will re oil tomorrow. Is it ok to leave the top in service mode over night...maybe two nights or does it put a lot of Un needed stress in the top?

I don't know if it is OK, But I have had mine in that position for a week while replacing the motor. The only thing I experienced was the elastic loop deformed a little. It sort of wrinkled still elastic but wrinkled.
