ceramic brake pads

Did a brake job on the 986 a couple of weeks ago and installed powerstop ceramic pads. Very pleased with the results. Much less brake dust and what there is is sort of light gray and does not stick to the wheels like the other. Braking seems about the same as any other pad. pads all around for $112.

Are they quiet too? Did you get the rotors too or keep what you had? Looking on line they seem to want to sell a combo of pads and rotors.

Bruce, very quiet. I got new rotors for the front and reused my rears. Did not get powerstop's rotors, I just went to powerstops website, got their phone number and ordered the pads over the phone.

I put Powerstop pads and rotors up front in April and really do like them... Nice and quiet without much brake dust.
