My IMSB was replaced by McSwain Automotive in Rockwall. The original bearing was fine. I have not had any problems since then, and my oil changes have shown no signs of metal in either the magnetic drain plug or oil filter.

There are other shops closer to you:

RAC Performance
Louden Motorcar Services

both in Dallas.

And then there's Mike (forum name kashmir), in Plano where you live, who can handle the job.

Thanks Ox. Been trying to get a hold of RAC all of yesterday morning. Finally got a call back that afternoon. I'll give these and a couple others a shout.

As far as your bearing is concerned thats good that everything went well. I already have a magnetic drain plug too. I'm not sure how I will feel about pulling a perfectly good bearing or pulling one thats about to snap!!!:barf::barf:

Yeah thats a good group of guys over there. Talked to the owner once and wouldn't mind doing business with them. Wish they were open on the weekends when I'm in that part of town. Not close enough to get there during lunch and as you may know, i'm ALWAYS at work. :D

I can always give you a ride home Randy, as long as I'm not working!
