gargle when I lift?

Name this sound if you can. First its a gargle and not the typical rumble of an aftermarket exhaust. The gargle occurs when I'm cruising along in first gear usually. I step on the gas from a stop, for instance when exiting the parking garage where everything echoes, when I approach a stop sign and get off the gas, after a short pause I hear the gargle. Seems to be tied to the throttle action if you will. Coil packs?

I vote for exhaust baffle or heat shield.............

Is this a new noise? How loud? My 987 has always had a similar noise when off-throttle/engine braking.

I've had this gargling/farting noise on over run at low revs since the new silencer and mnaifolds has been on.

Drive the new Boxsters! They have a great gurgle, especially with the PSE, when you let the throttle breath.

Not new. My indy hooked it up to the autologic and it didn't come back with anything.
It's definitely post-stock exhaust.

I have a very cool gurgle but that you hear at speed. The gargle is a parking lot/residential street cruising speed thing.

p.s.
I sat in the 981S and a 964 RS recently. The new Boxster seems HUGE compared to the old Carreras.

Careful! That is a very slippery (and expensive) slope my friend.
