What is this tube?

I was replacing a cabin filter and noticed this clear tube coming from left side fender and not connecting anywhere

It's the battery vent tube. The black plastic elbow connects to the battery.

I asume it only works for oem porsche battery,right? Looks like prevoius owner installed some aftermarket battery.

So i dont have to worry about this?

Yes, it only works on specific batteries with the vent hole. Most newer replacement batteries do not have a vent hole so most people just tie the tube back out of the way (or remove if desired).
