Hot Start Problem: It's the MAF!

Since I had the time today, I did a bit of testing of my hot start problem (and P0102 code) which occurred after the car was left to sit for a while after reaching normal operating temperature (for me this means the middle of the 0 in 105 degree weather).

Bottom line:

MAF plugged in: Car will not start. Just turns over ignites, hits 1000 RPM, then stops. Subsequent attempts do not ignite. Just turns the motor over.

MAF Unplugged: Car starts. Starts a bit rough then evens out, but starts.

If I plug the MAF back, it fails again. I repeated the cycle twice. Good news is my MAF from Pelican Arrived today too. So tomorrow - after the engine cools down - I'll replace the MAF. Then some extended driving to test the theory of it actually being the MAF that caused my problem starting. I do hope so as I really don't want to replace the CPS, fuel pump, etc.

BTW: Thanks for all the suggestions on what to look for and how to fix it.
