New 944

Pulled the trigger and traded in the Miata on a 1988 944 Turbo. 98K miles. Very original and in good shape. Ocean Blue Metallic exterior and Beige interior. Got a good deal at $8,500. On the way home, two guys in a 997 GT-3 drove by us on the freeway and gave the thumbs up.

Next on my list is a 1970's 911 but that might have a wait a bit...

Ant modifications?

Turbo model. Very much stock condition. Drives nice and tight. Only mod is an aftermarket CD head unit to replace the original Blau cassette deck!

the whole reason I got into P Cars is I was a child in the 80's. Pretty in Pink - 944 and yes, my son is named Jake just like in the movie and that sweet sounding 928 in Risky Business. Those two movies changed my love of cars from hot rods to german sports cars and I always vowed to own a couple...

Great car. Never seen a 44 in that color combo, I would imagine with it being a turbo if that is the original color on the car that must have been an upgrade and I would venture to say only very few of those were made in that color for transport to the US.

Original paint. The color is Ocean Blue Metallic. The blue has quite a bit of grey/silver in it. I've seen it on a few older 911's, not sure how popular this color been over the years.

Sorry! I'll be more careful next time I park. Glad to see you guys care as much as I do.

You do find some really nice cars. I still need to buy at least one spare, and maybe something for my daughter to drive, question is ... buy a Porsche and let her drive it or buy two cars (a Porsche for me and something else for her). Decisions. Decisions.

Buy two. Another Porsche for you and a Honda or Toyota for her. Bullet proof.

Daughter will attract the right kind of guys in a Porsche.

You don't want to have to deal with Honda Civic guys eating everything in your fridge and drinking all your expensive German beer!!!

Just drove my 86 944 for the first time in a few weeks, and was pretty shocked that it felt like a more solid, better built car than my '99 Boxster. Fun cars, very underrated.
