any way to fix severe paint spider-webbing?

Looks pretty bad. While I knew the web was there, I didn't notice the paint chips missing until today. Left bumperette is nearly as bad but no paint missing.

Any ideas?

looks like yours were painted at some point. just take them off, strip and repaint them?

painted my bumperettes for $60

Maybe? It's only on the bumperettes. The missing chips are recent, though. Remove and paint is something I thought about but I don't know much about it.

The bumperettes stick out, when they stick out they get hit first... paint is not going to crack like that by itself unless the bumperette has been flexed by hitting or nudging something.

I mean I get that, but I'm just trying to figure out how to fix it or at least prevent more chips from falling off until I figure out what to do.
