Your wheels turned up nice!

How many cans of paint did you use?

Since my car is white with tan interior I am tempted to paint mine 'old gold' to give it a try

I have the same rims on my car (18" version though)

and have been contemplating on getting some 19" carrera sports and painting them black or painting the SC II's black. I will probably give the plastidip a try before going all in with either but really like the look of the anthracite and gloss. My dad did the rims on his truck with the plastidip and they look pretty good (black) but he did not do the gloss finish which IMO makes it looks so much nicer. My car is silver with black side decals so I am thinking the black rims might tie in better to the overall look over the anthracite. Thanks for posting those pics and those carrera sports 2's look really nice.

1 can per wheel (good for about 2 light & 2 heavy coats)

If you are considering vintage gold then I would suggest you go with Copper Metalizer on top of matte black. Check out this A5; Copper Metalizer on top of matte black

Plastidip is a very good way to play around with the wheel color before you powder coat them.
