Finish problem

It's bad enough that I have cats around my shop where I park my car that love my black soft top. They leave a lot of hair on the roof. I left my car out overnight and had bird poop on the front lid when I came back. Its been in the 90's with direct sun . I washed the car yesterday and it seems the bird crap has etched the outline of it on the front hood. Any suggestions on what I can use to buff this out?

Do yourself and the car a favor, get a car cover. I park outside and wouldn't be without one.

Have the cover and am kicking myself for being too lazy to put it on that day!
