Double headed receiver hitch vs Boxster

Well....my daughter is enrolled at KU! We had just spent a full day in orientation and Q&A sessions and were waiting in line to leave the parking garage when the gentleman in front of me decided he wanted to be in the other exit lane. He put the Jeep Liberty with the "Mega Double headed Receiver Hitch" in reverse and slammed me.

$3500 damage.

The local Porsche dealer would not let me order an upgraded bumper through the shop (VIN# doesn't match that part #) - I purchased a new OEM GT3 front bumper on eBay ($850) and a went with some aftermarket GT3 side skirts. Should get the car back in a week or so.

I handled it pretty well, no one died.

Yea he is a good guy and felt as bad as I did. His insurance (State farm) was all over it and they are working with the body shop.

Been smooth so far.

Yep I lost some antifreeze- new radiator and condenser/cooler on that side and some other stuff in there. I haven't seen the official list yet. My horn started going off randomly too- had to pull the fuse...........

And, I got a small scratch on one of the wheels, a small ding on the rear quarter panel behind the passenger wheel, some rock chips in the windshield, the IMS Bearing may be wearing out so the engine should be upgraded from 2.5 to a 3.4. and my tires lost some tread! (all 4 of them)

Oh wait that is my UN official wish list.

it's always nice to hear a negative turned into a positive!
