first time cleaning the radiator

after reading lots of posts about radiator maintenance, I finally cleaned out the radiator. first time in 8 years.
25% of the radiator grill was caked up. took time and washed out the gird from the radiator.
everything came off fine and went back on fine, I think.
one side effect of this project is that now my car whistles at speed higher than 70 mph.
has anyone had similar experience?

That is strange. Did you reassemble everything back tightly? Is the whistling coming from the gas cap area, or down in front by the radiators?

the best that I can tell, I hear it on the driver's side. very much like some cars/outside rear view mirror or around the window frame.
didn't touch anything close to those area
