Help - Center wind deflector release?

Ok,what am I missing here. Just bought a 2000 Boxster S. 75,000 miles, trying to remove center wind deflector....I try to lift one lever up, then the other....neither "flip" up like am expecting...don't want to break it, what am I missing? I've searched.

Try lifting one of the two locking levers, hold it open while pushing down on the windstop and pull it towards the rear out of the fastening point on that side. Repeat for the other side.

Should the locking lever flip up...say 90 degrees or more? There a smaller lever inside of the main release lever... Is this the locking lever? Sorry, for my ignorance, but don't want to force and break.....

No, not 90 degrees....only half an inch or so, you might break it otherwise. Make sure you push down on the top edge of the windstop at the same time and gently push towards the rear of the car. You'll get it...patience.

Yup, the key is pushing it down and then back as you hold the release lever down. The lever just goes down a little bit. Do one side at a time as suggested above.
