Hood/Trunk releases locked

Interesting dilemma. I fixed my horn and now am replacing a bulb in the instrument cluster. The battery is disconnected, the cluster is locked in the front trunk and the hood/trunk releases are locked. Is there a manual way to get into the front trunk with the battery disconnected and the trunk releases locked? Thanks in advance?

Depending on the year I think the front hood manual release cable can be in a different location. On my 2003 it was located under the headlight assembly on the passenger side (us car). You have to take the wheel off and remove the finder liner to get to it.

On the later ones there is a "pull out" positive terminal in the fuse box .
Connect 12v to it and then you simply press the butto. To open the trunk as normal

Look in yout owner's manual. There is a picture and procedure for connecting a jumper wire from the fuse panel to activate the switch.
