Side decals

Porsche Boxster Side Stripe Decals Decal Kit Stickers 2 Off Choice of Design | eBay

I want to get side decals like this. Has anyone ordered from this company, or can suggest a company?

Karl

Nice price, and they most likely look correct. The tech and tools to produce graphics have gotten both common and inexpensive. However, the more difficult part is in the installation. I'd check some graphics places or body shops local to you and see what they might charge to both just install and to produce and install.

I paid $80 from the UK graphics guys (google Porsche decals they always come up).
The dealer wanted $150.

I added the Cayman R strip for the front bumper. Make sure it's pointing down, since the bumper curves away from the car it will look like its pointing up if you stick it on parallel to the floor.

It's only vinyl, how bad can you mess that up for the price.

That picture looks great. My car is silver too. I am new to the Boxster....your car is different along bottom of door and front bumper. What is that? Looks really good.

Factory 996.1 GT3 (1999-2001) front bumper. I think I paid like $900. And the side skirting was aftermarket 996.2 GT3 (2002-2004) made of fiberglass, that style was not offered for the Boxster from the factory.

Personally, you want to avoid fiberglass if you drive the car a lot. I will be taking the car in for the 4th front bumper repaint soon. It it weren't factory polyurethane and fibgerglass instead, it wouldn't have made it this far. Anything that sits that low will eventually crash into a curb, high manhole cover, road construction, speed bump... to many things to crash into.

Bought these from them, excellent price, quick despatch, and includes the application tool...

Clean properly before (alcohol swab etc.), measure properly, measure again, DON'T RUSH IT, and apply 3inch's only at a time having masked on and used a spirit level....

I have some side stripes on my car

(I work at a sign shop so I cut them myself) in the boxster script font. They really make the car look alot better IMO. I was hesitant to put the word "porsche" on the side as I thought it might be too flashy and too much of an advertisement. If you can get someone to cut the film out of 3m 1080, that would be my first choice. It is the same film that they use to wrap cars with when they are doing them in a solid color (matte black for instance). It comes in gloss, satin, and matte colors...some metal flake....some textured...carbon fiber, etc and is much more forgiving to install than regular vinyl.

I used a laser level
With the inward curve of the door and the upward curve of the rocker, it can be a little tricky. Patience is a virtue...and lots of water!

The company that I think you are talking about, currently has no listing on ebay. I tired to email them, but no reply.
