Fabspeed Exhausts, and DIY with PSE?

So, I've caught the bug too. After shopping around, I've decided that I'm aiming to get a FabSpeed exhaust for my Boxster, but I had a few questions I was hoping you guys could help me with.
  • How does the Porsche Sports Exhaust System affect installation of the fabspeed systems?
I have an '04 S, that the previous owner outfitted with the sports exhaust button. It doesn't sound that much different, but I dont want a whole mess of trying to install an aftermarket exhaust and having the PSE go nuts on me. I've looked at the part's manifest, and can't seem to figure out where the PSE/SES falls into place with the Exhaust system.
  • What is the difference that you've noticed between the Race and maxflo Exhausts?
One is slightly cheaper, but I really haven't been able to find a good quality video of the Maxflo system to compare. Thoughts?
Edit: I found a good maxflo video, but I just love the agressive-ness of the race exhaust. I guess I'm just a wierdo.

Thanks a lot!

It's either PSE or FabSpeed. One won't effect the other.

If you can't hear the difference with your Sport button, I suspect your PSE is not working properly. PSE is great. Sell your PSE to off-set your FabSpeed purchase.

While you're looking at it , can you take measurements of the se pipes going to the valve for me please?
I'm about to mod a rear muffler to be like Pse fully open .
(Unless you are going to sell me your rear muffler )

I have an '04 S also. If you decide to sell your PSE, I'd like to have a shot of buying it.

Kiritsugu - the race version is loud as sin with an equal amount of in-cabin drone. But I only drive my car on the weekends so it's worth the head turning

I have the PSE and its great. Float like a butterfly and stings like a bee!
Not to loud when cruising but once you get on the gas it screams with a nice bark!
I don't really k ow what the stock ones sound like so nothing to compare to.
