CDR-220 question

I rarely use the CDR-220 radio in my '99 Boxster. The other day, I turned it on for the first time in at least a couple of weeks. I noticed that several of the "segments" (I'm not sure if that is the right word or not) had apparently "burned out", so some of the numbers or letters were incomplete.

Is it possible to repair this? If so, how? Or do you have to buy a new face plate, or what? Anyone ever had this problem?

I haven't had this issue. However, now is a great time for you to get a REAL radio, perhaps with XM, IPOD hook up and the like.

A rebuilt CDR can be had at the Porsce dealer for under $300 but I don't recommend it.

Good luck.
