Festival of Speed promo

Somebody just sent me this video and I think it turned out pretty well. See if you agree:

Awesome Video. Makes me think about driving the over 2,000 miles to go.

Game on this weekend!

I'll be at the Festivals of Speed in St. Petersburg, FL this weekend on my Ducati. Spent an hour last year drooling over the Carrera GT and '57 Ferrari Testarossa that were there.

I'm in along with about 65 other TT drivers so far. Mac Duff and my brother are in. I expect T Stone and Alex B will be Club Racing in Boxster Spec.

And official website they do have:

cool cool. hope to visit the event also. crossing my fingers and hopefully my tight schedule would allow.

I have already registered for the Club race. We are expecting a good turnout for Boxster Spec racing!

I am looking forward to it! I will be there with my fellow California Central Coast Region PCA members.

I will be driving the Jägermobile with the top down tomorrow… Would you like to see some pictures? It’s supposed to be 70 degrees again tomorrow.

Starting out this morning, with about 30 other club members, heading south on the 101/134/210 freeways to the track. I will post some pictures later.

Haaa, I'm from Toronto, well Mississauga actually, 15 years ago and never looked back.

I drive a Jeep too because it rains a few times a year and I don't want to repolish the Boxster.

Oh those brisk January 65 F mornings make me have to turn on the Seat Heater and even consider putting the top up.
:p

I went to a Festival of Speed as a spectator and its awesome.
All the booths, Porsche cars of every year, mod parts of every kind...not to be missed.
Pretty model girls strutting around also added an additional edge to the atmosphere.
It was great chatting with some forum members in person as well, a very welcoming bunch.

Next time I want to do the Track tour (slow speed) to get a taste of the sight lines and imagine driving TT there at some point.

Too busy this year, but next year is looking good, perhaps the year after that as a driver too.

Nice pics Jager! The weather was great this year and I think everyone had a blast. My brother posted a personal best time winning his class and I managed 2nd out of 8 in class with my new ride. Not bad for a first weekend in the car. Still need some suspension work and a weight loss program though. I put her on the official scales and she is a very fat lady. 3100 lbs with full fluids
