Every time I go to a restaurant I make sure I sit where I can see my Spyder in the parking lot.

Just passed the one year anniversary, and still look when walking away, and in the garage from time to time.
What's even worse....I look at the refection of her in the cars I pass on the freeway.

I find myself not only looking back in parking lots, but going out of my way to walk back towards her at different angles.

6 months so far and I still look over my shoulder as I'm walking away from it, and yes, I do open the garage occasionally just to take it in for a bit.
It's even worse since I've had the front clip stripped and refinished to get rid of all the little rock chips and scrapes...

I swear the Porsches (Boxsters, Caymans, and 911s) built in the last 15 years or so are among the sexiest and classiest looking cars ever put on the road.

You get Red Green in the States? I always thought that was just a Canadian thing.

It's half the reason to park far away from everything, so the journey back is long enough for deep contemplation and joy. You also get at least one shameless glance back while you lock the doors. Do this at maximim range, so there is a good chance you get to walk back towards the car. I may be new to Porsches, but not the art of strategic gawking.

I just sit on the front porch with my iPad , cigarettes , and corona so I can look at it whenever I look up
Picturing how it will look in two weeks ......

I always keep the door to the garage from the kitchen open so every time I get a drink from the fridge, I get to ogle at my yellow beauty for a few seconds. Sometimes when I really can't help myself, I switch the garage light on and stand there, then caress the paintwork for a few seconds, take a deep breath, smile and then walk away with a grin knowing it belongs to me. |

What a relief to find out it isn't just me! Huge smile every time I look in the garage. My wife is starting to get a little irked by it. |

OK, now that we've cleared this up: Who's gonna confess to talking to their car?

I have and was only just recently for a period of 2 weeks after reading up on the IMS problem til the very morning I drove it to the Porsche specialist for the LN engineering IMSB changeover. Was saying to the dear yellow thing to please hold up and not go Kaboom.
