Fixed my car tonight !
Well the line finally arrived today. For those that dont know what Im talking about my clutch line was damaged and blew. It took me about 10 minutes to install and probably 2 hours to bleed the system. So its back on the road. I was going for a test drive and realized my 30 day tag expired on X-mas. Cant blame this break down on Porsche either. The credit must go to the anal cavity that jacked up the car last. Let me add the service manual did help a little.

Good job, ohioboxster, you saved yourself some major coin too!

Thanks, I was nervous but then realized it was just a car and I have been doing this kind of stuff for years. I wonder how much I saved by the way.
|
Oh, I'd say about $350 or more. If you like, you can call your dealer and ask what the book rate is for that replacement... you'll be amazed. Be sure to tell your wife how much you saved so you can buy something nice to add to your boxster like anti-sway bars, a new head unit, etc. :)

Thats funny, before I even took possession of the car I had it send to the stereo shop for a new head unit. Maybe I should work on an amp now, lol.
