Wheel fitment question (help JD)

I found a nice set of Cayman thick 5 star wheels. They have the following measurements............

Rear- 265/40 18" 43mm offset 9" wide rim
Front 235/40 18" 57mm offset 8" wide rim

Will these fit a 1998 boxster with stock suspension without spacers? Will these offsets give a more aggressive stance? What would be a fair price for a excellent condition set of these rims that have 50% left on front tires and rears need replaced? After reading through the archives I'm pretty sure these will fit but I thought I should ask the experts (JD).

I thought that I already answered this one ? Anyway, the rears will fit fine. However, the ratio aspect of the tire is off for a 986. It should be 35 not 40. The front offset is quite high. For starters, I would recommend running a 10mm spacer(s) up front.

Thanks JD. You did answer a similar question but it was for a set of Carrera wheels with a slightly different offset.

I didn't know they allowed Porsches in Indiana with 18 inch wheels ? :) By the way, are you by chance related to Meat Loaf ?
