Adjusting the OBC

How do I toggle the OBC through the outside temp, gas mileage etc.? It came on my '99 and I did not have to do the hack to obtain the outside temp,it was a option.

All boxsters come with this feature from what I've learned. If you don't have a fourth stalk (bottom left side of steering wheel) then it wasn't purchased as an option when new. You have two paths to be able to toggle through the features:

1. Buy a 4-stalk unit new or off ebay (when you find them, they go for about half price) or somewhere and install it. Instructions are on the web and not too hard to find.

2. Buy a $20 dash switch and some wires from the Audi/VW parts counter and rig up a switch mechanism yourself. Instructions are also found on the web and not hard to find.

Hope this helps.
