I suggest you sell the car immediately before you do any long term cosmetic damage. Also you may want to register at a school or college or simply embrace the power of 'spell checker' as grammar is frankly embarrassing.

IMHO it really would compliment the lines of your boxster's rear end ... really beef it up - ya know!

kk2002s 05-16-2013 05:07 AM

I truly believe that you have to put the largest spoiler-wing on the trunk lid so everyone can tell the front end from the back end. Before you put it on though, make sure you figure out the back end.

Actually I could sell him my hood ornament as it would balance out the whale tail perfectly.

Mark_T 05-16-2013 05:33 AM

I find it hard to believe that someone this illiterate could actually be the legal owner of a Porsche. Did you buy it or just help yourself to one you found parked on the street with the key still in it?

Pass the popcorn, Andy...

Rickinduncan 05-16-2013 05:50 AM

I think you guys all got trolled. The Op's spelling was so bad and random it could only have been done on purpose.

Sounds like it to me since he has another post to buy a boxster in the for sale section.

HAUSIDMT 05-16-2013 07:59 AM

Please tell me that was a bot, I would hate to think that a legal adult could possibly have that big of a problem with spelling.

Coffinhunter 05-16-2013 08:33 AM

You know, English is not Everyone's first language, and the original post reads a lot like something written by one of my older relatives.

So, give the guy a break.

But gluing a spoiler on another spoiler? That's dumb . . .

if you get one like this, it should allow the current one to deploy at 75 without getting in the way...

plus the extra side skirts really fill the car out, which is what makes the whale tail look so nice.

out at 75 miles an hour will i have to disconnect that one if i put on the new one is it possible
to add a aftermarket spoiler on a boxer i dont want two spoiler on the car can someone answer my question legitimately and has someone seen a aftermarket spoiler on a boxer please put legitimat pics thanks im serious about buying a boxer i will get one soon for those who made fun of me i have add and somethings are diffult for me like reading and writing i could still live the rest of my life normally those who made fun of me u give porsche owners a bad name and u make alll porsche owners seem sarcastic but to the rest of the good people out ther god bless you jesus saves

ChrisZang 05-18-2013 10:58 AM

There is a decent looking rear wing for the Boxster which will not interfere with the original spoiler. Will look for pictures

The oem spoiler from the aero kit II isn't bad. And, there are numerous aftermarket knock-off versions of it for cheap. You do have to disable the original spoiler however.

My spoiler comes up when I just push a button (also when I go fast). Doesn't everyone have the button? I have to push the button, or turn off the engine, to make the spoiler go down. Was that new in 2009's?

Nope. It's there on the early models too. I think it goes all the way to the 97, but can't say for sure. Mines a 99 and has it, but it is for deployment only (up) so far as I know. I don't think you can use it to close a deployed spoiler above 75 Mph. To disable it requires additional work. Maybe a PST2 or Durameteris to turn it off without a fault code.

I just push it again and it goes down. But if I'm going above 75, I don't want it to go down right that minute . . . :)

That is just criminal damage, you should be locked up if you butcher a Boxster in that way.

evo-r 05-19-2013 11:30 AM

Anyone knows what's the time delay for the 75mph spoiler activation/deactivation? If someone stays around 74-76mph, I wonder how the spoiler will react?

rene525d 05-19-2013 12:00 PM

It will only go down when you reach 50 or less. So it goes up at 75 and remains so till you slow down to 50 or less.
