I am back on the air

Well folks - I have to apologize but I had to take some time to focus on personal things for a while. All is well, and I am back and will try to help out with codes as much as possible :-)
Most of the requests below have likely sorted themselves out but if anyone needs a code please don't hesitate to reach out.
Cheers
Heiko

Best of luck finding a 981. I hope moving a late model Boxster won’t preclude you from visiting the vintage Boxster 986forum.

Definitely not... and the search isn't easy.... My wife fell in love with a S model here in town which is Riviera Blue, and trying to find another like it is almost impossible... I would go for a 718 but I just cant switch to a 4 cylinder (it just doesn't sound the same, even though the HP rating is higher) :D

Hi, I just bought a Boxster and would like to confirm the activation code that's written in the stereo instruction book.
2000 Boxster S
type 4462
serial #Y5043782
Activation code: 2354

Many thanks for your time and effort in doing this for everyone!

Zordrack 10-07-2021 04:52 AM

Wouldn't the easiest way to confirm it be to type it into the radio ?

2354 is the correct code for that radio :-)
so you should be good.
It does flag a second option code which is 2343 for that serial so just in
case 2354 doesnt work you can try 2343.

He would have to disconnect it and reconnect it and if the code was wrong he'd be without radio... didnt mind double checking :)

your code should be 0434 but in case that doesnt work the second option would be 0334.
