Hi,

I have a 2002 Boxster with a Becker CDR 220 stereo, Type 4462, Serial # 25012241. I had to change my battery recently, and I seem to have lost my stereo code. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

2301 or 2300 in that order - let me know if it doesn't work.
Sorry I missed this post

New to the Boxster world. I was directed here by a member.

2001 CDR-220
model BE 4462
serial no. 15085827

I replaced the fuse in back of the unit and it powered up but sits in "WAIT" mode.
Any help very much appreciated.

Hi Heiko,
I found this forum via Google. I can't locate my owner's manual because my Boxster was in the shop for a full year! Long story but needless to say it needed a new battery and the radio is asking for the code. Following the instructions at the beginning of this post - this is my information:
Becker CR-220
Model 4462
Serial 25005888

To note on the serial - it *looks* like the second digit is a 5 and the fourth is a 0 (zero). The LCD on the radio is kind of not working right (e.g. some LCD elements are no longer lit) but it was working fine audio-wise before going to the shop. :D

Any help is sincerely appreciated!

Did you try too many times to enter the code? It will come out of wait mode if its on long enough... 2828 should be your code but if that doesn't work try 2827

That worked and thank you! I can now see how bad the LCD on this radio was again. :D

Hello all,

1st of all, happy new year!

I have just received a Becker CR-21, model BE 2160, serial number S1002205 (i am unsure the 1st character is a S or a 5?). Could someone please help me with the code?

Thanks a lot!

Left it on for about an hour to get to the code. 2828 worked thanks for the help.
