Ditch the outdoor car cover

Harbor Freight has these portable outdoor canopy on sale for under $200.
No need to make sure the paint surface is absolutely clean each and every time before before dragging a cover across the paint surface.

These look a bit sturdier and longer for $300. Altough probably not ideal for areas with extreme sun like Arizona.

Best check local ordinances about these first. In my county we're not allowed to have these up.

Wonder how much snow they can hold. Let's say a foot of wet snow. If they can that would be perfect for my Mom's place in Adirondacks.

Ugh, ugh, ugly.
Sort of okay in the backyard, but really awful on the driveway.
Someone in my neighborhood has one, looks like they are camping out on the driveway :barf:

I probably would just use it for camping.

Or tailgating? Go Bears!

They will hold a surprising amount of snow, but you should clear it with a roof rake from time to time. Also, the sun tends to rot them out after a few years.

Looks like a moisture trap. . .

According to the reviews the pricier one withstood Hurricane Sandy strength winds.

I think if the looks really bother you could camoflauge it pretty easily with a fake facade and place some tall greenery on the sides. cheaper than spending $15K on a new garage.
