RUF bumper just installed...

Installed the RUF bumper today. Took some patience but over all it was a simple project. But I had to remove the reinforcement bar though because the bumper wouldn't fit other wise, is that a requirement for proper fitment?

Heres a few quick pics I took of the install

the old flip flops install...were you grilling hot dogs off camera?

now you just need to deamber those headlights.

p.s.
there's a guy selling a 996 in that same violet mettalic with a tan interior also with GT3 seats.
Askign $25K. That's great color when the sun hits it...

I've always loved the RUF front bumper. Was actually a hair from ordering it (actually, I ordered it but the online store was out of stock and had to refund me). I have since then changed my mind.

I wasnt really going to do the install today but I started and couldnt stop, so the flip flops stayed on:P

Normally you cant see the amber light like that but I guess the sun really brought it out.

It's very common that one has to modify the bumper bar in order for an aftermarket bumper to fit. Looks good !

In case you didn't know, Ruf now represents it's products here in the USA with their own office in Michigan.
