Interior picture thread?

I don't know about you, but I absolutely can't get over a gorgeous interior! I also gives me new inspiration for future plans for mine. If you have interior pics - please share!

Michigangstar, that's very understated, I like it!!!

Chuck,
That's beautiful. I'm wrapping up mine this weekend!

Here is mine for now, I need to take some updated shots since these still show the grey top.

In 2001 the "Interior Package - Dark Burr Maple" was a $4,350 option and required the "Full Leather Interior" for another $2,920. Not to my taste nor is the extra $7270. Though the full leather interior would be cool.

Just got this interior in on a trade. I wanted to share with you guys because its unusual. Does anyone know the color choices available for 97-04?

Midnight blue graphite gray. The green interior is nephrite green. I'm not sure when or if they stopped production of that color.

KevinH1990 12-29-2014 05:37 PM

That is Nephrite Green.

I think you could also have black, gray, dark blue and Boxster Red.

Here's a picture of my interior featuring some upgrades that I have done over the years.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1419903285.jpg

I'll take some better ones in a month or two when I have the hard top off.

I wouldn't mind having some more wood trim, but I think the full package might be more wood than I would like.

Retroman1969 12-29-2014 05:43 PM

Nephrite Green...
That's also my color. :)

More than what you currently have would be too much. I think I like the wood 4 spoke wheel better than the three. It appears to just go better with the style.

The green carpeting is too much green. I would like to see a black car with this interior and black carpets.

How about an autocross interior with some carbon fiber...

Full leather, yellow belts, supple leather seats, aluminum trim, yellow coco floor mats, and deviated stitching.

(The porsche seatbelt covers are 15 bucks a set on eBay, a great buy if you ask me!)

I noticed the wood trim car had no side air bags, what year was it?

This picture is a little better. It also shows my 5-gauge Carerra cluster. The 5-gauge cluster seems to fill the space a little better.

I see that a few of the cars have the full leather/supple leather interior. I've seen cars with that option in person and it gives a much higher quality ambience to the car.

Ckrikos 12-29-2014 08:14 PM

The full leather interior in my Turbo is light years nicer than my boxster's vinyl interior. The nice thing about the boxster is that the interior was much easier to clean and maintain. I also like the alcantara headliner as compared to the cloth in my boxsters hard top or soft top.

Beautiful interior Jake!

I'll play along. My interior is a little different...
  • Sparco Pro2000 Plus racing seat
  • Schroth 6-pt racing harness
  • Full custom roll cage
  • Cage roof net
  • Momo racing wheel/quick disconnect hub
  • Center console delete
  • Passenger seat delete
  • Stereo delete
  • Carpet delete
  • Climate control system delete
  • Window and door panel delete
  • Drivers side window net
  • Pull cables for door operation
  • 997 short shifter
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Custom fab dash center faceplate (soon to be carbon fiber)
  • Custom dash switches/plugs for TC/lights/power for cameras/driver cooling system
  • Rennline pedal set
This car is still street legal and is driven to/from every race!

I agree! That is one of the best looking interiors that I've seen. Congrat's!
