Triptronic transmission control module
 

Had a quick question I was hoping someone could help me with.

I'm currently parting out my 2001 S Boxster with tiptronic. I'm selling the engine along with the tiptronic control module.

I'm wondering if that module is "transmission specific"...meaning, if I sell it, does that mean the triptronic won't work with another control module (from the same style/part number/year range)?
