silver crest on steering wheel?

It's been a long wait. The Boxster I ordered months ago (thanks again to so many here for their input), is finally scheduled to arrive next week.

I'm getting seal gray and plan to replace the badge on the hood with a silver crest and get clear lights to replace the amber.

The only "yellow/gold" on the car will be the crest in the steering wheel.

Is it possible to get a silver crest that fits into the recessed area of the OEM leather sports steering wheel as a replacement for the gold crest?

Even if it's possible, can it be done "good as new," or is there a risk of marring the leather or failing to secure the crest properly, even if done by a professional?

SoCal, congrats on finally getting your car!

If you find a way to replace that steering wheel crest, be very careful. Don't want that thing ever coming off in the unlikely event the air bag blows.
