Re: Pic 6 - You look relaxed in that pic with your elbow resting out the window.
Re: Pic 7 - Is a 66 Vette ideal for an Autocross?
Anyway, it looked like a good time. PS, RX-7s rule!

LOL, good eye Jeph, that is my Dad's 66 vette. He just decided to bring it out and have some fun. In Pic 6 I am relaxed and just messing around because I went off course earlier in that run.
Musatti, these are the people that set up the Auto-x. They come down to my area and set up the auto-X a few times a year. You should come down from Chi-town and join us sometime this spring/summer.

Aside from a topic of interest (to me, anyway) the pics are beautiful. The sky in #5 is so pretty that it looks artificial. And let me know when your dad wants to part with his Vette - what a beauty (the car, although I'm sure Dad is quite fetching in his own way)!

Hey Adam, where did you get those Carrera 5 spokes for your 03 box? I've been looking for some of those and my dealer says no such beast to direct fit..

Your dealer is a crackhead. Those wheels were a factory option and came with the car. The offset is specific for the boxster I believe and can be harder to find, but the one's off a 911 can be used with spacers I have been told. I found these reproductions that actually look very close to the real thing and they fit boxsters without spacers.

Yes they do, at least nice clean ones that haven't fallen victim to ugly body kits and the like. My buddies red one in the pic is a real nice example....probably one of the nicest unmolested TT Rx7's out there. It's a Twin Turbo 93 with only 35k original miles. I took a few rides in it and it's acceleration is on par with my boxster S but it can't handle the turns quite as good. Of course, if he ever decided to mod it he would clean my clock on the straights.
