98 Boxster Purchase

Hi guys,
I haven't been here for a while since I sold my black 98 a year or so ago. I'm about to buy another 98 becuase I miss the old one so much. My question is that the 98 I'm looking at was probably built in late 97 since it was delivered to the dealer in feb of 98, so it shouldn't have the problem of the late 98 to early 99's. But I'm still worried about the catostrophic engine failure. The car currently has 64k miles on it, and I know that this is past the usual mileage that the engine failre happens. The car has an impecable service record, the guy even wrote down in a little notebook when he bought gas and how much it was. I feel more confortable with this car than one with half the miles and no service records but I am still cautious. I wil of course get a PPI done. But just thought I'd ask you all f there is anything I should look for at this mileage or any maintanance items that will go soon. I can work on the car myself, and I've done the maintanance on my last one. It's this or an S2000, and I would rather take the 986 over the s2k, just much more of a car, no matter what the reviews say about the s2k

Thank Much,

Jerry

I assume the full and complete 60K service has been completed on this car?
