rondocap Registered User Join Date: Dec 2012 Location: NY/NJ Posts: 195	Dissapointed with Mintex pads I bought the red box Mintex pads from pelican, with new balo rotors. I put anti squeal on them numerous times, and after 2,000 miles of regular driving and bedding them in, they still made a significant amount of noise. A metallic noise. So I bought textar pads, and they made no noise and worked great right away, and continue to be noise free. $52 for Mintex vs $92 for Textars, that makes sense!
