Haha. Ok, Tim, here you go... the only ones I have were when we were at the Grand Canyon.

We also stopped by a tiny little air/space museum while out cruising around the desert. It turned out to be pretty damn cool!

We were blasting north from the Grand Canyon and I decided to take a more scenic route so we turned off the beaten path and started taking the back roads (at least I think they were roads) thru Navajo country.

Along the way, passed an old Indian on the side of the road next to a hand painted sign that said "dinosaur tracks"
The thin red/pink sand of an enormous flat had blown away showing what was once an ancient swampy forest floor. It was covered with dinosaur tracks, nest, and even a couple of incomplete skeletons. Next to my knees is a fossilized vertebrae from who knows what, which is just part of the spine and rib cage laying scattered to my right. About 8' behind my left shoulder is his next step. Brushing away the sand and smaller stones, I was able to find his next step as he (or she) moved on thru the forest heading in a south eastern direction. Not in a hurry, just big long easy steps.
All around my feet were the tracks of medium sized 3 toed bipedal dinosaurs. From what I could see, there were several adults and one young baby along with a very large partial skeleton. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. |
