BF Goodrich???
Is this a good tire for my Boxster?
BFGoodrichg-Force Sport COMP-2 They have them at Discount Tire $122 front $137 rear and I want something that has the same performance as the OEM P-Zeros. Thanks, -Steve |
I have Comp 2's on one of my BMW's, and they have excellent dry traction for street tires that can take rain and some colder weather. One small step below the AD08 / RE-11 / RS-3 / ZII class of summer only, and mostly dry weather tires.

I have those bfg on my boxster. They are good but a bit loud. Overall they are good tires..
|
Thanks, what do you guys recommend - I would like similar traction as the P-Zeros but I didn't get that many miles out of the P Zeroes (25K miles)
|
25k miles is not bad for a set of tires on a Boxster. Try the Bridgestone RE050's for performance and long lasting
|
I had these on my Boxster and couldn't wait to get them off. For me, they were horrible in the wet. The rear would let loose all the time. Replaced them with Hancook and so far much better.

I like BF Goodrich, but they are some of the fastest wearing tires I've owned.
I ride on some nice Contis now. |
Bridgestone?
How about the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11. There's a $70 discount going on now at Costco. Any bad experiences with Costco installers?
