Okay, time for some heresy.

Get a Miata for the track. You can change broken parts for literally a fraction of the Boxster/911 cost and then buy a Cayenne to commute and tow with.

Podium finishes to you in any case!


The other option (IMNSHO) offered early by ChrisZang was 996 GT3 - that might be hard to pass up.
