Pentosin Motor Oil
 

anybody ever used Pentosin Motor Oil

Its what my Indy recommends. He's been putting it into my 01 S for 4 years,

Really do not even know where to get it, besides the dealer I supposed.

There are too many "good" oils out there to try something that is more or less unheard of. Mobil1, Royal Purple, Redline, Amsoil, Castrol, etc, etc, etc, etc

I was willing to do an experiment with my porsche by just using standard oil for the past 50k miles.
Result? My porsche is as reliable with cheap oil vs Mobil 1

Um..that is interesting westladog. I guess to truly find out whether any damage was done is to take the engine apart and look for any possible excessive wear.

I suppose before synthetics were so popular and mandated by manufacturers, that we just changed the oil every 3000 miles with conventional motor oils, and it was fine.
