Aluminum instrument dials, can they be done after the fact?

My 01 Box didn't come with aluminum painted dials. Can you buy these online and retro fit them?

Thanks!

Are you referring to the aluminum trim rings that go around the rims of the instrument cluster?

If so, these are available on Ebay and far cheaper than the factory option. The wife just bought them for me for Xmas for $85 plus s/h. It's still a rip off though as it's just stamped, brushed aluminum!

Should you buy them, do yourself a favor and REMOVE your instrument cluster to superglue them on... no need to put drips of the stuff all over your dashboard.

Now if you're talking about the silver or white instrument faces (with the numbers on them) those too are available on Ebay from time to time or online sources. They're more work to install though, and over twice the price of the trim rings.

Anything can be retrofit. It just depends on how much work you want to do. ;)

You should call Eric at Bumperplugs. com. They can do this for you if they are removable. Take off, send to them, and they'll paint em.
