What do you carry in your Boxster??

I occasionally do service calls so I have a doctor's bag of common tools, a high-end Surefire flashlight, a really nice Leatherman multi-tool, phone charger, and a .45 sub-compact in the driver's door.

You?

I have a Leatherman Charge Ti and a SF G2L in the glovebox along with phone charging cables.

And sometimes I carry this.

Until last week, I carried an extra jack, two tool boxes, automotive lightbulb-extension cord thingy, electric air compressor, dual USB charger, GPS, extra oil, extra light bulbs, extra fuses, jumper cables, wheel lock, umbrella, soccer shoes, rags, and a box of extra screws and bolts.

I realized how heavy the car felt so I took everything out except the Porsche tools and my umbrella. Now it feels too light. The wind keeps pushing me around on the highway.

Love this thread, Springfield Armory Microcompact .45. Luckily its only a 6 shot clip, living in NY, I'd never carry more than 7 rounds of course :)

I carry the right size torx screwdriver I need to take out the console tray so that I can get at my park brake indicator switch in case it fails and leaves me top-down in the rain. I carry a 24" breaker bar because that lug wench in the tool kit ain't gonna cut it if I get a flat. I also carry a plug kit, a small air compressor, a first aid kit, a roll of paper towel, a blanket, a notebook and pencil,a roach clip, and a camera.

Right on!

My carry piece is a sub compact 1911 .45 Star PD from about 1981. 7+1.

It's really nice living in a place where carry pieces simply aren't needed (even if we could get permits, which we can't).

My son was robbed at gun point in Toronto. Seems only the bad Canucks have guns.

My bare fists and a can of spinach does fine. Crime/carjackings are unheard of where I live. Honestly, I could only imagine concealed carry if you were in L.A's Skidrow, Detroit, or Tijuana, etc.

My Century 21 insurance card with roadside assistance.

Just me and an occasional passenger.

ekam 03-15-2013 06:19 PM

I didn't know so many hairdressers have guns.

So you guys are hosers and we are hairdressers? Not following. Sorry.

ekam 03-15-2013 06:30 PM

It's the "Boxster owners = hairdressers" joke. :)

But yes we are hosers eh!
