Cruise control?

My Boxster did not come with the owners manual. I should order it.

With cruise and a manual trans, you push the button in and then push forward to set the speed? I see the dash light come on but have not seen the car run on cruise.

Yep!

Dash light is on....push farwad to set the speed. If you use the brakes and need to get back to speed push down on the stalk.

Thanks. Too many arrows on that tiny stick to make sense of it!

If you go to Renntech, you can download it. It's in the documents tab on the top:

RennTech.org Forums

You will need to register first though.

So, what do I check if the light comes on but it will not run on cruise? Just slows and I can't accelerate with the control.

Some people may have different ideas of what forward is. Are you pushing the stalk towards the dash? That is how you set the cruise control speed.

Yes, but it does not take over the speed. Just green dash light.

Well I guess it's broke. :(

I'm not sure I would have made that connection. Thanks.

Anyone....are there multiple fuses that run the pedal separate from the dash light? Is the cruise function all in the wand?

Try to inspect the switch at the clutch pedal.
It looks like the brake lights switch, but has only 2 wires.
