Convertible top push rod

"Nice" day in Chicago today. Decided to replace my convertible push rod. Got it installed pretty easily, but then came time to connect the rod to the pin dealy thing. There is no pin dealy thing. Then it started to rain so play time was over. Does anybody know what the technical term is for those push on dealy things so I can look them up on Pelican? This is politically incorrect, but I'm looking for the male end.

It may have gone down the drain hole. Or is in that area.hopefully it didn't break off the frame. It is attached with a nut. It's the ball of the ball and socket..
