Recommendations for Jump Starters?

How many Cold Cranking Amps do I need in a Jump Starter for a 986 S?

Will this do the trick?

I have the JNC660, and it's awesome. Something like 1700 CCA, which may be overkill, but I don't want to be stranded. The company sends me an email monthly reminding me to recharge it overnight.

HF has a nice one with additional features like air pump, power outlets etc for 99. On sale now.

Why not just replace your worn battery with a new one like an Optima?

I use AAA. Get any level above Basic and they battery service is free. My wife just used it. Not only did they test her battery, alternator, and starter on the spot but they gave her a report too.

Went ahead and took the plunge and bought the JNC300XL. Tried it on a dead battery. It worked!

I bought this on Black Friday after Thanksgiving at Pep Boys. It is 900 amps with an air compressor and light. It was 39.99 after mail-in rebate. I bought it to replace a 300 amps jump box that couldn't start crap. Fortunately I haven't had to use it yet so I can't say how good it is.
