I view of the fact that your vehicle has been lowered, I think reducing the offset any more than 5mm's with a 285 tire will potentially create a clearance problem with regard to the fender lip. In the event you were running a 275, I'd feel more confident in saying that you could lower the offset by another 10mm's.
